If you have 3k-4k to spend on AR what would you get?

Send him a PM he'll get back to you pretty quick.

Seriously, I would be researching for one that gives me the best accuracy guarantee....regardless of caliber.. and an optic to match..

Well the accuracy guarantee is certainly a major plus.. sub 1/2 moa is what I would be looking for.. mhmm

I seen a guy here with a D-Tech for sale, but i don't know if I should be concerned about 400 plus rounds?

Yep, me too. Any good quality lower with a nice match trigger and you'll be shooting bugholes (and have a bunch of cash left over).
If I was looking for an off-the-shelf shooter, I'd go with this one:

UM-1 - Ultramatch

That is one sexy AR..

Then you need a lighter rig thats in the 6-8 lbs range, anything heavier and its a pain to tote and point in the field.

400+ isnt worth worrying about. some of the Pdog hunters will toss that many pills on a weekend. If you need reassurance, just check with Mike. My 243WSSM has close to 500 down the tube and still holds sub .5moa at 400m

If you are going to spend that much drive to Mn. and sit down with Mike at Dtech and design one. Buy the scope you want send it to Mike pay him to put 100 rounds through it and it will be a straight shooter if you are.

If I had that much to spend, I'd buy a night vision scope to switch between my 6.8 and 5.56 AR.

If I had to buy a rifle with it I'd get the Noveske 6.8 Rogue Hunter and put a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 scope on it.

Noveske are hard to find and if found I doubt the package will wring in under 4k, oaybe wrong. I'll look into it for sure.

Yes Noveske's are hard to find sometimes.

Also in the 6.8 I'd also take a look at Wilson Combat's offerings. Bill Wilson is pretty well into hog hunting and so he's one of the builders who gets out there and actually uses his product.

6.5 I'd take a look at Les Baer Custom's .264 LBC-AR it comes with a 1/2 MOA guarantee
