I recently purchased a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x40 and received a free Burris Rimfire 3-9x40. Price was great. Scopes are decent good. I was suprised though that the Fullfield II did not come w/ lens covers. The Rimfire had them. I emailed Burris more that a week ago and have not heard from them yet. Is their customer service always like this?

The FFII does not come with scope covers other than the rubber band one. I dont know that they ever have. I lost an elevation cap on a couple scopes and contacted them about buying some. They replied right back and sent them to me free of charge.

I have not had good success with emailing them despite the published email address. But calling works out OK. I gather from their rather dated website that they just are not very internet focused. They have someone who monitors this forum but he doesn't seem to notice the Burris threads very quick.

I'd give them a call. Have had excellent results w/customer service when one (of several) FFII's I ordered came with incorrect size lens covers (rubber band type) but handled it with a phone call and they shipped correct size right away.

Same story here they took care of me.Originally Posted By: reb8600The FFII does not come with scope covers other than the rubber band one. I dont know that they ever have. I bought a used Burris 2x pistol scope at a pawn shop for $10. It had no caps. I called Burris to purchase and the rep said, "Give me your address and I will mail you a set at no charge." Even though the scope is gloss and the caps are matte, I am very happy.
