IMR 4166 ...

It's a new powder and I doubt that anyone can find it or much data at this point.

Hate to say it but there are to many powders out there. The last one I liked was IMR 4007 ssc. Took forever to see data on it and than it was discontinued. It was a good powder in the .22-250 though. I still can't figure out why IMR quit making it.

What cartridge are you considering it for?

I haven't heard any reports on it, but there is plenty of data for 204, 308 and 22-250 on Hodgdon's website.

I'm not exactly sure what that is supposed to mean, can you elaborate?

I picked up 2lbs of it a few weeks back and ran some test loads in my 6x6.8 with 70gr smk. Accuraccy was pretty darn good in the small test sample I did but velocity was quite a bit slow compared to other powders. No signs of overpressure but I simply could not get enough in the case to reach top end with it.

IMO, I think it will be fantastic in cases like 22-250, 243, 6 rem etc. IMR rep told me it burns a tad faster than 4064.
