How did the 17 Hornet do, did you do much hunting with it?

It was a Savage Model 25HB with a laminate thumbhole stock. It shot the factory stuff so well I didn't even load for it. My friend owns it now and he say it puffs tweety birds. He claims its one of his favorites.
 
I wasn't real impressed with the nef t btt st I owned years ago. Accuracy was marginal and sticking cases in the chamber
