Insight on manners stocks

Im doing a bit of research for a future build and I just wanted to hear some thoughts on these stocks:

MCS-EH2
MCS-EH4
MCS-T

I really don't know what I want the build for yet but I probably will stick with a barrel slightly heavier than a standard rem sporter but I don't think I want a truck axle either.

As far as caliber, who knows...I have a rem 700 ADL for a donor so could go with a 22-250, 243 or maybe a 7-08. At any rate right now im thinking a 24" tube.

Basically let me know what you like or don't like about the stocks and if you have rifles riding in any of the ones I listed feel free post them up.

I like the ergonomics of the EH2 best. The MCS-T is my second favorite. The 4 is a little tacticool, not much but a little. I can't say how it feels as I've never had one.

If you go 24" get the EH2.

24" of barrel is great for a 22-250 or 243. It's definitely unnecessary for the 7-08. I've taken everything from prarie dogs to bull elk with my 20" at distances from 10-550 yards. Never lost a critter, and never fell more than 60-70 fps below my old 24" barrel. Hope this helps.

I have one of the MCS-EH4 stocks on a SA Remington. The beavertail forearm is wide, even for my paws. Mine has the MCS-BDL mini chassis installed. This is not one of there lighter weight models. I waited 6+ months before it arrived at my gunsmith. I will be using this platform for a change barrel system.

I've had a handful of manners stocks, currently have a EH2 with a bartlein #4 and would be my choice for any lighter profile barrel and the a MCS-T for the heavier profile barrels.

I really like Manners stocks. The workmanship is great. The fit, finish and function is great. I have 3 of them.
However, the customer service is terrible. What I mean by terrible is that they tell you one thing and then another and another. You get the idea. Next, trying to get someone to answer the phone, good luck with that. If you do get someone to answer the phone, good luck with getting some accurate information(manufacturing status on stock after the first three times they would tell you where its at).
The last stock I ordered they told me that they were now doing the bedding since there have been complaints about barreled actions not fitting the stock. I thought that was a good improvement and a step in the right customer service direction. Yep I was wrong there as well. I was told it would take 1 week to get the bedding done. Not a big deal right. WRONG Well it turned out that it took 3 months to bed the action. All of this would have been fine, I understand that great things take time, but getting lied to over and over. I do not think it is a good way to keep customers.

thanks for the input! after more research, I think I have eliminated the EH4 for now. They just seem too short for a 22-24" barrel. I am starting to lean heavier towards the EH2 but since I don't know what barrel profile I want the T could still be an option.

I wouldn't mind see more pics if you got them. I have no idea what I would want for bottom metal yet so any input on what you like about one and don't care for on another would be helpful.

On a side note, whats the difference/pros/cons between factory rem extractor vs m16, mini m16, sako etc.

I just finished a 7-08 deer/hog build with an EH-4.

Love it so far. My barrel is finished at 21.5" I would not do a barrel longer than 22" in the EH-4, don't think it would balance very well, 18-20" would probably be ideal.

However, mine balances perfectly.
