Introducing FOXGRIP from FOXPRO

Nice for those with AR style grips & useless for us with only bolt guns. I see you are looking into a bolt gun set up though as stated above.

You could have the FOXGRIP button work as a mute button if wanted to, I would think so.

Yoda, you did send it, correct? Thought sure I'd be on board by now.

I didn't forget you DC. I sent it in and that's probably what's wrong. I told them exactly what you wrote down for me.

Happy Hunting DC and Best Regards

Gonna be critical that the remote keypad is ALWAYS in a place or position where it can/will communicate reliably at ALL times with the caller.

It'll be interesting to see what guys come up with to make this work reliably out in the field during real hunting conditions.

wabtklr,

At this time, we are only selling the FOXGRIP with the grip that we are using. Some grips we have played with will not work as well.

family guy,

We can not updgrade your remote to a TX505. The only path is to purchase a new TX505 remote. The board and everything is completely different. The new TX505 will work with the older Fury's.

doggin coyotes,

Possumal is correct. The remote button only needs to talk to the remote control. It does not send the signal directly to the caller. Since the remote is usually on you anyway, there shouldn't be any issue.

Yes, I understood that.

I also understood what you previously said about Foxgrip transmitting to the remote control..

Let's try this another way. Hypothetical scenario to follow.

Let's say you've started playing a sound and laid the remote on the ground next to you. Now for whatever reason, in this scenario it's probably because the remote control is laying on the ground, the remote control is not in communication with the caller.

Back to my question. If the remote control is NOT in communication with the caller, is Foxgrip going to perform the desired function when the button is pushed?

I guess I'm just looking for a yes or no answer.

Thanks.

Copied this over from a post I did on the FOXPRO forum incase anyone does not venture over there. Wanted to know if anyone else would like this sort of set up.

"So I had an idea for a FOXGRIP for bolt guns.
How about doing something like this (just make sure to use a weaver style or picatinny rail instead of a dovetail system so it fits more secure, had to shim the horus):

http://www.horusvision.com/asli.php

I use one of these on my rifles and if I mount it in the front part of my scope or rail depending on the gun I can easily reach it with my thumb.

Then make sure to put a slot in it for some industrial strength velcro that will fit under the vent rib on a shotgun.
Kind of like this:

--> Anyone else like this idea?????"

doggin coyotes,

I got you now. In your post when you mentioned remote keypad, I was thinking that you were referring to the FOXGRIP. My bad. But yes, you are correct. It is possible that if you set the remote on the ground, it could lose communication to the unit. That is one of the reasons that we are only using them with the FHSS remotes, which offer the longest range. I normally carry my remote on a lanyard around my neck. I have never had an issue with FOXGRIP not activating, but it certainly is possible. If the remote is not in communication with the unit, then no, FOXGRIP will not work.

im4flight,

No, the FOXGRIP will only work with the Fury 2, Prairie Blaster 2, Shockwave, and some of our custom shop units, such as the CS24B's and Krakatoa with the new TX505 remote control.

Can we send our TX500 and have it switched to a TX505,so the case will still match a fury with the green swirl pattern?
