Iowa Mt. Lion pic

Guys that raised fur on the lion that looks like it is being heldup was acctaully where the hunter had the cat chained to his dog kennel. I saw a picture at a local cafe where it shows a close up of the cat and you can clearly see the chain, however i couldnt talk the owner to lemmie barrow the picture for scanning and she had already deleated the pic off her e-mail, she said she maybe could get one to me but i'll see what i can do.

P.S. I've heard of 3 other lions spotted around the same area this lion was shot and one is a trail cam picture, i'll see if maybe i can get my hands on one of those pictures too, im not promising anything though!!

Guys,

A friend sent me a pic of a Mt. Lion shot near Stover, Mo. I'd post it but I'm not sure how to do that since it's an e-mail. I could forward it to someone to post that knows how or tell me how. It's an impressive picture and since lions have been a hot topic of late, I thought people might be interested. Help?

If that is a mount why the heck would anyone mount a cougar with the front feet crossed and the rear feet crossed. I think it is stiff and that is how it has been laying on its right side(froze or stiffened up). If you notice the feet and head are all "to the right".

corey22--follow Yellowhammer's suggestion and read the whole thread before you jump to conclusions. The photo of the cougar leaning against the support posts IS NOT a cut and paste job--it is the frozen carcass of a cougar!!
