IRS raid of Colo gun shop

I never liked the show after watching it about 2 times I was done .

I have been bullied by the IRS have been to court and won and have lost . I am all for the fair tax and fire every one of them , maybe they can get jobs I doubt many of them could last in the private sector in a position they are no longer a superior .
I am absolutely fed up with the taxation and no representation . Only met one good agent and he said he wouldn't be there long because he wouldn't conform , and then showed me how to do a carry back loss for my business .

The poor already pay tons of tax... they just don't know it, cuz it is hidden. They are dumb enough to vote to have themselves taxed.

Thanks for the snotty remark, are you an economics professor? Those guys haven't helped us much.

So the poor pay a lot in taxes? Surely you jest. In NM where I knew about the obscene social services programs, when you exhausted your welfare checks you still got rent, clothing, and utilities subsidies, a great free ride, no taxes other than a 6% sales tax.

You think people won't cut back on big ticket items like cars if there's a 18% tax on them? Don

Well, actually, Sonny, I minored in economics in college. Your understanding of taxes is at the 5th grade level, and simplistic.

Actually, the economics professors have told the government for years, that it is on a self destructive track - about 35 years... and they have told Obama that he destroying the country, but the government (and Obama) don't care, cuz they are buying our votes, with our own money - is there something really stupid about that plan???

Most of the taxes you (and the poor) pay, are buried in the item - so when a poor person buys food or products, they pay large amounts of hidden taxes.

And, YES, people WILL buy big ticket items if there is an 18% tax on them, if the price was dropped 23 to 25% beforehand because of a new, open, transparent, tax policy.

In the flat, fair tax, ALL federal taxes would be removed (except users taxes), so the 18% sales tax would be the bargan of the century.

And it would be nice if EVERY American was concerned about what the government spent - as it is now, half of the country doesn't care what the government does with our money, cuz they think it doesn't effects them... but they keep bitchin' and whining about the constant increases in the cost of everything... Duh!!

And another benefit of the fair, flat sales tax is that the government doesn't keep track of what you make and what you own... which is worth the change, if nothing else.

At your level of economic understanding, you should be impressed by a cashier that gives correct change.

Catshooter can mighty irritating but if you don't believe there are hidden taxes, look real close at your phone bill. I bet you are even paying for services you don't receive.

Look at how high your Water and Sewer bill are. Bet you did not know that there are now Government agencies taxing your Municipal Government for pumping water out of the Ground and regulating how much water can be removed from an Aquifer. This tax forces them to hire Lawyers and Engineers to quibble with the Government over receiving water.

Look at Social security, this was supposed to be a fund set aside for your Retirement. The Government stole it and is now increasing your SS to pay for programs it is now paying for with your money.

The tax on SS on my pay check went up over $75 per pay check and I am far from the limit of $100,000 per year.

Obama keeps just printing money. By doing this he devalues your money costing you a percentage of what ever money you have.

Look at all the Toll Roads they are building now. The gas tax is supposed to pay for these roads yet they sell them to Foreign companies and you pay to drive on them.

There is nothing that is not already taxed in some way.

You get your pay check is taxed, the things you buy are taxed, to keep the things you buy you are taxed (Houses, Cars), if you save your Money in a Bank the savings are taxed, everything you buy, keep , or use is taxed in some way. The Poor already pay more because they take out loans to pay for these items that are still taxed.

He!! Obama ias talking about taxing the Air some companies may be using and the only reason he has not done it is because he has not figured a way to regulate it.

Obama used your money to purchase the office of President. I did not like the Republican Nominee myself but it is the lesser of evils.

Obama loves the poor because they are cheaper to buy and manipulate than the rich. Other than that he could really care less about any of them. Remember all that stimulus money. That went to the richest of companies not the poor. All he has to do is give out a few free minutes on out dated phones to get the poor vote.
