is .308 too much for Coyotes

+1 on the 168gr Match Kings. I think they are pretty "thin skinned". At any rate they seem to fragment most of the time, and do a great job of killing coyotes way out there.
 
Catastrophic on groundhogs too. I have mine real close to the lands, and they're long to the ogive anyway. The recoil boogered up the tips of the 2nd and 3rd shot in the magazine. The Noslers have a similar BC, and the tip is pretty tough. My 1:10 twist didn't do well with the lighter bullets, but the 155-180 range worked really well.
