Is Ultramax ammo any good?

My cousin and I went to various gun shops today looking for some 55gr ammo for his .223 and all we could find was some remanufactured Ultramax with nosler ballistic tips. I dont know anything about them and was wondering if somebody could chime in about their quality and performance. Thanks in advance. Josh

I have shot it mostly in the 55gr soft point and it is good stuff. I would buy it again if the need arose.

When I bought a used .223 some time back I didn't feel like reloading for it. So, I purchased some Ultramax ammo and never did find the need to reload!!

Been using it for years, .223 NBTm super accurate in my sako, hammers the coyotes.

I've killed a pile of G-hogs with it.I'd say it's as good as Black Hills blue box.

I have shot some IDPA with there 9mm ammo and didn't have any troubles at all with it.

need to try some 9mm for my new gun.

bout as good as black hills...before I was reloading I dumped alot of ultramax 223 40 nosler bt's in Cali ground squirrel colonies. Never had a problem and it is pretty consistant.
