I have a set of Cold Gear and like mine. Boss got me a Gift Certificate, and I used it on the UA tops and bottoms.
I probably would have not bought it otherwise, it does keep me warm, but it does dry the skin somewhat and is itchy like the others have said.

I have a friend at work that believes in it, at least he should because I swear everytime we train, he has a complete outfit on. I think he even has underwear too. I have one UA item, a baseball cap. I think you could do just as well with the Wally world items and for alot less.
 
mbowerma has it right. its nice and will keep you warm but if you move around and start sweating, and have a lil chest hair it will itch like no other.

but if your stands are only like 100 yards from the truck ull be ok. 50 bucks for underwear is a bit steep though..
 
I like it. The cold gear bottoms keep you warm, and drying out even if you have gore tex type raingear.

For hot weather, I have tried many different other brands and still spend the big bucks for UA. Never really have had an itchy problem, and I am medium hairy?

They have many different products, not all are compression.

Looser fitting UA stuff is more forgiving on the ego if you don't look like Superman.

I could care less about the name, I do not buy NIKE stuff, or just wear stuff to sport the logos.

I have used the heat gear in texas. I questioned if it was worth it too. I used it for two days then washed it and it was not ready for the third day. worked fanatstic I was geat for 2 days and sweat like a pig the third day when I did not have the UA on. I will us more.
