COYOTES: I’m looking for pied (I know it’s a long shot), Brindle, black and tri, black and white, NO REDS OR SOLID BLACKS. will buy frozen whole and pay good $ for the top dog

What does this mean?
I'm just following. I want to hear the conversation around this subject, but also I want to be able to find you if I shoot a really wild coyote.

Just a curiosity, but what is the most optimum coyote for your purposes? What does the ultimate coyote look like?

Honestly I’ll take anything really out of the ordinary. These 2 that I mounted awhile back is really what my client is seeking

I passed on a black one a few years ago in Wisconsin. It ran 15 or 20 yards under my treestand on rifle opener morning, it looked great. I was hunting right beside Buffalo county, WI, known for some of the best whitetail on earth and I had a 30-06 with 150gr, I didnt want to scare away everything in the woods and i figured the nice pelt would be ruined anyways. Hopefully it spread some genes.

Wish l read your post sooner i shot one last week during a Georgia archery deer hunt and left it in the woods he was a phase one black/gray coyote. If this post had a way to post a picture l would do so

I pessed on one looking like a cross between a shelty and a coyote. No collar but I was only a 1/2 mile from a house. I didn't want to make a misstake. He came up to the caller( i;ve had a number of coyotes do that though) and spooked when he saw me and I've had a number of farm dogs do that. When you say " Do I or Dont I" it is best to Don't. I passed on one during pheasant season that I mistook for a golden retrieve and let it pass. A few weeks later I saw it dogging four deerand didn't have a shot.
