Yeah, 7 lbs 14 oz is a keeper for sure. I never was one much for catch and release, lol. Congratulations to Mom and Dad!!!

Well, the action unfolded without much excitement and no problems. Much like a good hunt it is great when a plan comes together as intended.

Let me introduce you to Sadie Grace Robertson, less than 1 minute old at this point she is letting us know that she likes to be heard.

Shortly after we got our first bath, which she needed badly!

Dang, the nurses do pretty good work. Nearly looks good enought to kiss at this point...

The next part is ultimately going to be one of the highlights of my life. The introduction of Sadie Grace to her big sister Sidney Claire.

And finally, Daddy and his girls. I am looking forward to a few hunts with these two...

Guys I really appreciate the opportunity to share this with you. It has been a pretty cool day and everything has worked out as well as could be hoped, I can't really ask for more.

As if we didn't already have a big day, we were contacted early afternoon by the local news station for an interview. It turns out that 8 is considered to be a lucky number and as she was born on 8/8/08 at 8:18 am they wanted to do a little story. It should also be in the Tyler newspaper tomorrow as well.

Thanks again, and thanks a bunch for all of the kind words an prayers!

I'll bet she lives up to that luckyness! (Is luckyness a real word?) No matter...

I'll wager you are all three ready for a rest tonight. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Awsome to say the least.
I missed my son being born. Actually I passed out. Was in recovery with my wife on my own gurney. Truly a remarkable thing after I regained my faculties.

Nothing like watching a baby being born. I watched many, during medic clinical training. Viewing the miracle always choked me up abit.
Congrats! on the new girl. Nice family you have there.
