Yeah I cant remember that guys name but he seemed alright I guess.I only met Erdman like twice the whole time he was here.Once because a guy pulled a gun on us when we were pheasant huntin and he called him and said we were on his property which was really leased property.We knew it was because my grandpa leased it and I was huntin with my grandpa that day. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
And the other time I found a hawk with a brokin wing so I called him and he came to my house and got it.Other than that I didnt really know him.
It really doesnt matter to me.I dont do anything wrong so if a game warden or police officer or whoever wants to be a jerk for whatever reason thats fine.I dont let stuff like that bother me too much.It just goes to show they got picked on in highschool more than likely and their trying to prove that their a stud or whatever.But in reality their still just a sawed off little runt but they just wear a badge now.People like that are annoying but whatever. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
It really has to more to do with the property I own. Erdman knew all my land I could just call him say i'm on the section, he'd say i'm heading your way.
Or once some idiots decided that right south of my house still my back yard. They'd park and jump the fence to shoot this small doe...hmmm no way my house is just right there..called him gave him the tag he met them at their house!..he was easy to deal with. Come out here to tag our bobcats instead of making us go to town. As a land owner he was a dam good guy. He'd stop me just to see what in the heck I'd went and managed to shoot this time... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

FYI this new guy will only tag bobcats when season is done.

Yeah that would be nice not having to give them directions and whatnot when you needed something.
I have the Wildlife Biologist tag my bobcats.He's a really nice guy.He does it pretty much any time you want him to.
Last time I needed a bobcat tagged he wasnt around and neither was the new game warden so I had to call the game warden in Texas County and he came right over and tagged it for me.That was pretty cool I thought since he lives like 15 miles from my house if not a little further.The bad part is that right after he tagged it I walked back in the house and the game warden called to see what I wanted. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
He wouldnt have tagged it anyway it doesnt sound like so it didnt matter much I dont guess.But I didnt know that at the time so I felt kind of dumb. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
Yeah the guy I have to call is the Harper County. We end up tagging the cats when we took them to the sale because Mark would be there. Kinda stupid this new guy won't the law states we can only have them for 2 weeks with out a tag.

Yeah I dont understand why he would do that either.Not everyone wants to keep their cats that long before they sale them.And if he's busy and someone doesnt get their cats tagged they will be breaking the law and it wouldnt even be their fault.Thats something that would happen to me more than likely and now that I mention that it probably will. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif
