Thanks Fatrooster...we sure do know what to do. lol. Maybe this summer we can plan a get together and all meet down there or something. Ride around that country.

Sounds good to me Jack. It sounds like we kinda think alike. Its not just about the kill but enjoying the country and the hunt.
Been spending a lot of time in the Montello area these last two years deer hunting with other people. A lot diferent kind of place when you compare it to the Jarbidge area but every place is cool in its owne way. fatrooster.

yeah I just like to get out. If I call a coyote in and kill something more power to it but most of all I just like to see new country. Just an excuse to get out of the house and do something different. I will contact you if we go down to Jarbidge if you like. Maybe you can make down there.

I don't know about this year yet, but last year the feds flew that country clear over to the bombing range starting the second week of Nov and gunned it every day for 2 weeks. Then they went back the third week in Jan after the cornfields that border the desert were cut and gunned them again.I live in Twin Falls and know one of the gunners and to say they are efficant is an understatemant, they even swoop down and shoot them right in the middle of the livestock. The plane is based out of the airstrip at Gooding and they cover all the public land from the INEL border to the bombing range on the snake river plain. They stay away from the foothills and mountains, i guess fixed wing aircraft and inclined surfaces don't mix well.

I have seen them fly before and yes they are brutally efficiant especially when they shoot them out of a helecopter. Thanks for the Info appreciated.
