Genesis 9:2-3

2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

I suppose its okay if you "hug a bunny" as long as you eat it afterwards! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

After Adam and his chick ate from the tree they weren't supposed to, they realized that they were naked and they hid themselves when they heard God walking in the garden. A bit later, The Bible says, He brought them clothes of animal skin.

Genesis 3:21 "Also for Adam and his wife The Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.

I think this part is rarely ever thought about. But where do you think God got those clothes of fur? He had to slaughter a poor innocent critter.

PETA Continues Shameless Ad Campaigns- (03/05)

In yet another shamefully offensive display, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has created an anti-meat billboard that compares Jesus Christ to a barnyard animal.

The ad features a photo of a pig and the caption, "He died for your sins – go vegetarian." The organization says its reference to Jesus’ crucifixion is meant to generate compassion for animals in the meat-industry.

“This appalling ad is not the first time PETA has used crude religious angles to promote its political agenda,” said U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance President Bud Pidgeon. “Last year, the animal rights group launched a campaign that compared the slaughter of animals to the murder of 6 million Jews during World War II.”

PETA has an entire website, www.jesusveg.com, that includes information about a billboard it created that depicts Mary with a chicken in her arms with the tagline “Go Vegetarian—It’s an Immaculate Conception.”

Romans 3:23 Even though we don't like PETA we should take what JESUS said to GOD as he was crucified "Forgive them Father fore they know not what they do".

green herb? Marijuania? Some legalize pot people will probably say Jesus was a "stoner".

Our western view of Jesus is a white guy with blond hair blue eyes. Looks similar to Kurt Cobain. And now all this talk about green herbs, could Kurt have been Jesus reincarnated? lol J/K

I dunno why I posted this, just speaken my thoughts. And yes PETA is very offensive, and no Jesus was not a vegetarian.
