Just a bit more info for Bear Creek Arsenal for you all

I do like the fact that it is quieter when charging and I don't lose my brass although not a big deal. So far I am still shooting my 204 in a rem 700 when hunting. If we were allowed to have a loaded weapon in a vehicle I would probably stick to a AR not bolt action

I had a spare lower sitting around so I got a complete bolt action upper from BCA. I paid about $220 and hoped it would shoot although I had my doubts. The first thing I noticed was the bolt did not work quite the same as my other bolt action rifles. I played around with it for a day or so and learned how to work the bolt, I shot bullets from 50-69 gr all were under an inch. The 1 thing I don't like is when you clean you must remove 2 screws to remove the bolt handle in order to remove the bcg. These uppers don't work with all after market triggers For the money spent I think it was a bargain. Uintah precision is most likely a better upper but cost 5-6 times more $. The reason I bought this upper was to see if I would like a bolt action in an AR platform.
Why not just get a BCM bcg and be done with it? Purchasing something where you have doubts about the product before even buying, to me, is asinine. Buy once, cry once.

Bought a BCA side charging upper on a whim. Wanted to try a 6.5 Grendel, was only $200.

So far, so good. Not as accurate as my high end ARs, but didn’t expect it to be. No feeding issues, really like the side charging feature. Running suppressed, it does have some back pressure. Nothing unpleasant, but there is a little excess exhaust though the ejection port
