Anyone got 1?
what ammo does your like?
mine just come back from factory for shooting low 4in low at 20ft

they put new barrel and slide on,sent back with a target.nice group center mass.

i shot it and it still seams 4in low,and i had it on a rest.

Guy x shoots low, guy y shoots fine, odds are x marks the spot.

4" at 20 is a BIG issue if it's the firearm. Its a small issue with a shooter. Mixed dead load practice can be pretty revealing. And then just trigger time. At 20 feet you should be able to file the sights off and still be on target.

I love mine, and that is an understatement. CW9, 40, and 45.

My 9 shoots 2" high at 9 yards(27 feet) with 124g Speer gold dots with a load of 7.8g of AA#7, very, very accurate.

These CW's are so accurate, makes you want to buy 3 or 4 of each!

What is so nice about these pistols is that they are thin. You can loosen your belt, stick the pistol under your belt and let the muzzle ride in the watch or change pocket of your jeans, perfect fit!

If you feel you have to carry a pistol, always carry a spare magazine. Bad guys run in 3's and 4's.

I was using sight pic#1
So far ive been shooting 115gr fmj,by Sellier-Bellot
and Federal Champion.
I know its cheap stuff, buy i figure why shoot the costly stuff if not through the 200rd breakin.

I havent reloaded any yet.Dont have much brass yet.
The small size is the reason i picked the Kahr over the S&W MP
I do have 3 mags,1 came with gun,1 from rebate, and 1 came back with gun from repairs.

I know i need trigger time, this is the 1st hand gun i have ever owned.

I use sight picture #3 with my CW9 and get good results. It is spot on from a rest but I have a tendency to shoot a little low free handed. I contribute it to the long trigger pull of the Kahr.

I have the cm9. it was a nail driver when i did my part. ideally from my training instructors you should use sight picture two. thats what i used the the gun was dead on.

but lots of practice and trigger time is the best way. I always mix in a snap cap or two into the live ammo to see if I am jerking the trigger or flinching.

good luck and have fun shooting.

Try changing your sight picture and if that doesn't entirely get you where you want to go, try some 147 gr. bullets.

Keep in mind that your line of sight and your barrel trajectory are much like that of a rifle, just for shorter distances...Sight picture #1 is generally used for bullseye shooting, sight picture #2 is generally used for combat shooting, and sight picture #3 is for distance (over 35 yards) shooting with fixed sights..

The center of your bore is below your line of sight and most sights are set at the factory at 25 yards, so 20 feet (less than 7 yards) will generally put your point of impact lower than your point of aim..Lighter, or heavier, rounds will also have an effect..

Most action/combat pistol competitors don't really worry about a 2" variance in their point of impact unless they are in the top rankings, since speed of the second and resulting shots are as important as the first one...I used to be able to hit six 11" plate targets in three seconds (at 11 yards) and that is a slow time by current standards...

I've spent years shooting with sight picture 1 although Sig says their guns are regulated for sight picture 2. Personally I'd just switch to a heavier bullet and leave my sight picture the way I was comfortable with.

I shoot 124g Speer Gold dots with 7.8g of AA#7 accurate in many 9mm in my cw9, they are impressive on one gallon water jugs.

Amazing how OAL can affect accuracy in pistols, especially.

I just bought a CW9, this afternoon. I'm a long time target shooter. All of my handguns are large, with adjustable sights. I decided to get a carry permit and smaller handgun.

Do you have any advice about holsters?

I'm looking for a belt slide type. They don't list Kahr, so I'm wondering should I look for holsters listed for a Glock 26?

Does an Uncle Mike's size 1 fit?

Most of the shops around here,if they have the gun they will let you use it to see what holster will fit it.Or they will let you bring yours to try.

I use a comp tac adjustable cant paddle holster with my CW9 in outdoor recreation settings. It is really convenient to take on and off. You can also get it with a belt slide to interchange with the paddle. I use Kydex IWB holster from PJ Holsters when I need a more long term concealment option. I Like Kydex for the Kahr because it really takes advantage of the Kahrs slim profile.

I found some listings for Kahr, at Safariland and Galco. The belt slides kind of feel like, when I used to wear a tool belt (for over 10 years). I might try a paddel type, I've never even seen one in person.

Thanks!
