This may be hard to believe, but each field I planted had supposedly been sprayed with a herbisyde, thus leaving the soil infertile.

So either the person who aplied the herbicyde did not do so properly,( which I find hard to believe as there where three different technitions ), or I use a brand of seed that is impervious to biological attempts to destroy it.

I tried to use controlled burning as an altranate methode,
but,I was share cropping and the field owners, fearing damage to the surrounding habitat, would not let me use that methode.

I think you did not read the directions on the bottle. The man is supposed to get a shot glass and down two shots of the 'seed killer' prior to planting time. It has no effect on the strength of the seed, but will sure put you out of the mood.

I tried that too. Wich just brings us full circle.

Stick to one, or the other, do'nt get good at both.
