KHAR ARMS

I'm no great pistol shooter, but when I shot my older E9 Kahr alongside my Ruger fullsize 9mm (P94??), the Kahr trigger & ergonomics really showed it's mettle! Offhand groups were easily half the size of the Ruger's. And I 'm not knocking the Rugers!

I bought one of the first Kahr .40's SS (K40) when they came available to replace a Glock and a 2" S&W .38 as a CW carry piece. At the time, I was shooting several thousand rounds of .40 S&W per month in Sigs and CZ's. The Kahr can handle high volumes. The pistol doubled as a loaner qualification gun for my CW classes. It was the only small, .40 cal pistol that a novice could control well. It is an extremely durable weapon and functions flawlessly if you use SAMI spec ammo. The only drawback is that it does take some strength and technique to work the slide properly. It can be a pain to constantly load/unload when arriving home if that is your plan. The 9 should be a little more user friendly for a carry gun since most people find the .40 a little too hot. The Kahr is a class act.
