Kill Suit... Sapper suit vs. Pants+Jacket?

After reading some guys on here talk about The Kill Suit, I've decided to buy one. I think I'm going to go with the Sapper Suit rather than the Jacket+bottom version. Does anyone have any input on which they prefer? I walk through rough terrain a lot to get to my spots, that's why I'm leaning towards the Sapper. But, it seems like the full suit provides better concealment. Any info or opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I bought the old style sappersuit before the kill suit came out. I think the sapper is the way to go, and if you're sitting on the ground, your legs are in the leaves or grass.
I also take mine off and carry it in my backpack going from stand to stand.
I think the kill suit woud pick up less twigs and burrs, and be better from that point.

Shayne- That's what I was thinking, too. I'm going to order it now. Thanks for the input...I needed a little confirmation before making the order.

Like I said, my Sapper is the old style with the strings. I like it just fine, but I think the kill sapper with the strips will be even better.

After you've used it a few times, let me know how it does. I'd like to have one, but there's nothing wrong with mine.

Let me know how well it is put together. Mine was sewn so loose the strings would pull out with little effort.
I had to refasten all the strings myself, but it wasn't that hard with the fabric welder (sewing machine).

Good luck, and kill lots of coyotes.

Yup going with just a guille top is the way to go. The pants are a hassle and the deer havent seemed bothered by my legs at all.

I was out one morning after some rain in some quite pines. I was just sitting in my suit with deer walking all over from 60 yards and less, much less. I think a little 6 may have been trying to sniff me. I hadn't heard him at all but I turned my head to see to the left and when I did I got a snort in my ear and some twigs and needles scatered around me. He stoped at about 25yards and looked back before walking away.

That afternoon I had a P&Y buck only 8 yards away. Snuck up again, I had no way of picking my bow up.

Its great camo.

+1 on the Sapper over the 2 piece suit.
I use a 3D type poncho and like Yotehunter57 I carry it in if I'm walking through difficult terrain/woods. The poncho gives me the option of draping it over the shooting sticks creating a "mini-blind" that is sometimes useful. Too many brambles and bois d'arcs to consider a jacket/pants suit.

Thank you guys for the input! I ordered the Sapper suit through allpredatorcalls.com. also ordered a dennis kirk cottontail distress call. I'll post some pics when it comes in. Thanks again

How do you like the way these fit? I'm a 38" and am right in the middle of Med/Lg and XL/2X. I'm thinking the smaller would be better and stay out of the way a little more.
