I have a Kimber 82B .218 Bee that I wish to re chamber/barrel to a 17 Ackley Bee. Has anyone done this or can offer any suggestions/advice?
 
If you do it be sure they leave the action so the original barrel can be screwed back on as it is a pretty rare rifle only 130 were made. There is one on guns international for $4670.

As far as doing it only the depth of your pockets will determine that.

Personally I'd look for something to rebarrel to 17 Fireball.
