I made up my mind and want to dip the upper, lower, scope mount, and free float tube in Kryptek Yeti on my .223 winter coyote hunting AR. The small parts like grip, pmag, lower parts, and scope will remain black. Should I save $30-50 and leave the fluted barrel stainless (too shiny?), bead blast it, or Cerakote it gray to go with the gray on the Yeti pattern (or black to match the small parts? or more white?). Thanks for any suggestions! Here's a couple pics for reference black , gray , bead blast or stainless? . Hopefully they work.
Also, it will be used during the day so I'm debating leaving a thread protector on it (cheaper), linear comp (to help when I'm hunting with a friend, some muzzle rise/recoil reduction), or muzzle brake (virtually no recoil so quicker follow up shots and see the hits). What would you do?
