Was able to ambush a pair of coyotes last night but only connected on one. Here is the video from the Pulsar XP50
As you can see the coyote ran a fair distance until it stopped and died there. When I skinned it this morning the entry and exit were about halfway back and low on the body so marginal shot thankfully she was a big female with a deep chest or I would have missed her completely. However, after re watching the video multiple times it doesn't appear that it impacted where my point of aim was. I have had some misses the last two years, where I have questioned the scope but ended up blaming it on myself. I have checked and sometimes it does seem I have a POI shift but other times seems the scope is on but this is all with varying temperatures. 2 weeks ago the scope was dead on with consistent groups. I will recheck it tomorrow. So I guess my question is how do I go about confirming whether or not I am suffering from a POI shift? What sort of documentation do I need to provide to submit a claim? I purchased the scope from Night Goggles 2 years ago so if I really do have an issue I would like to take care of it before my warranty is up. Do I contact Pulsar or Night Goggles?
