Lead sled or no lead sled?

I use a lead sled for testing loads. I used sand bags for years for testing loads but found the lead sled works better for me.

I am not nearly as experienced as you guys. I tried a lead sled and for me it was more trouble than it was worth. I have a number of shooting bags I purchased and some homemade bags that I use that will always give me a steady hold. My largest caliber is 30-06 so recoil isn't a huge factor. As someone already mentioned, the POA was always different when I switched from the sled to bags.
