My boy loves to get and work with me. He is always wanting to be just like me, and recently took up wearing gloves to work in. jersey gloves just don't cut it when it comes to stacking fire wood and such. For the life of me I cannot find any good work gloves for him. Thought mabey a member might have a lead for me.

See if you can get a cobbler or leather repair guy to make a little pair out of some womens gloves w/ thin leather /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif He will also need some of those chain saw chaps for when he is sawing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif PC

Try doing it yourself.
Used pair of ladies leather gloves.
Scissors.
Needle and thread.
Use a wood dowels to size the fingers.
It's hard to get the right fit with store bought gloves on little paws anyway.
Good luck.

Hello,

Theres a ole boy just down from the road from me that hand stitches deerskin gloves. He said to "send the boy, or just his hands and he'd be glad to make a pair, for free". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I've heard him say that phrase a hundred times to people calling him up from miles away that want custom work gloves over the phone. hehe

Seriosly for a second. Like was previously said, try a pair of womens gloves and sew, or tell a cobbler your intentions for your little helper.

Try a sporting goods store and look for "Kids Batting Gloves". I just bought a pair for my 5 year old grandaughter for $8.00 and they fit her like a "glove". Leather palms and mesh back.

Cobbler, I dont think there are any local, least that I've heard about. Batting gloves are a great idea, I'll have to see what I can find. I tried the Grange and no luck there either.
