Leaving Dead Coyotes

I know the hogs like to clean em up real quick. Come to think of it, hogs eat other hogs too. Only thing nobody touches is dead vultures.

Last year, a buddy and I were calling and had just made a yote kill. We left the dead yote to the side of the road and we kept about our business of calling. Three hours later, when returning on the same road, I noticed the dead coyote was not in the exact same place (about twenty feet moved) and I noticed it looked real strange as I drove by. When I stopped to see what was so different, it was a bobcat croutching next to the dead coyote. He stood up and left when we got out of the vehicle. It appears he had been trying to drag the coyote and was apparently, eating on the fresh kill. It was the darnest thing and I have never seen anything like it.
I also think that yotes WILL occasionally munch on other yotes when the situation and environment dictates.
