Lee auto bench priming tool?

So I’m looking to buy this priming tool and just wondering what your guys thoughts are in it? It appears to be good and it’s cheap so it fits my tight budget. Who uses one and what’s the pro and cons of it?

It works well enough. The primer tray is a terrible design, but serviceable. I like it for the money invested.

i'll agree that the new primer tray is crap - it gets the job done but it feels like a flimsy POS.


not much of an "upgrade" from the old system other than its probably half the price to produce. Lee "upgraded" me to that when my old one finally cracked on my hand primer.

i hardly use the lee anymore as i usually prime on press with my LNL-AP, or the CPS-Lite from Primal Rights (that i was fortunate enough to be selected to do a review for here on the forum) but it sure was fun watching my buddy when i was helping him learn to reload to struggle with it as a learning exercise! i let him do a hundred cases with the lee, and the pulled out the CPS and he was like... wait... what? lol

Is this one that you have to purchase LEE's shellholders? I like Lee products, but always felt like that was a rip-off.

Flimsy and I already broke the primer tray where the rod comes up.. I would invest in another type or brand.. Dan
