lee reloading products

Wouldn't a person be better off spending another $10-$20 and getting the turret press kit? I've been looking into starting reloading and I think I'd want a turret press.

Yeah I wish I went with the turret press. It would make things easier. But all in all it doesn't save a tremendous amount of time.

For 200 rounds a year, a guy could just buy the ammo. If you want to dabble in reloading, Lee products will work just fine. The nice thing about that hobby, is you shoot more. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would not give the Lee powder measure a good review. This is the one that mounts to the bench, it was too hard to move the handle. And after messing with it, it just seemed too cheap. In frustration, I eventually threw it away, and bought a used RCBS measure at a local gun shop.

The other Lee things I have bought work great. I really like the lead pot for pouring jigs, the Lee shellholder kit is a great value, and another cool one was the universal decap die.

I've had my Lee press for about 8 yrs now and I love it. I've slowly gotten other stuff, but I still use that single stage press. I also have 2 Lee Pro 1000s, they're better than the turret press. At least thats what my buddy says and he has 4 Pro 1000s and 2 turret. He says the 1000s are better, just his opinion. I did get a new powder measure and a new scale over the years, but the Lee ones still worked fine. Get the kit!
