Left handed what do you shoot

I'm left eye domonant but right handed. I shoot rifles lefty but don't own any. Years ago my brother got a Remington 700 thats left handed and it cost 100.00 extra and felt strange to me. Pistols I shoot with my right hand but I turn my head a little sideways so I can aim with my left eye.

I'm a lefty and only shoot left handed bolt action rifle. The biggest reason is if you need a follow up shot you can cycle a round much quicker. as far as selling L/H rifles not a problem there is always leftys looking for these rifles. the biggest problem is caliber choice you are stuck with the vanilla calibers if you want some other calibers you have to rebarrel and rechamber in most cases. Do yourself a favor and buy left handed and never look back shooting a right handed gun left handed is a pain in a##.

I'm a 100% Lefty, but have never shot a left handed gun. I grew up shooting right hand bolts, and have always bought them right handed.

Same here.

I shoot right handed AR's and pumps, if I'm building a rifle I always go LH bolt. her's a couple

I'm also a lefty in the shooting world. I have a few left hand rifles, but most are righty's. Never really thought about it. Just something I grew up with and learned to adapt and overcome. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Rightie with left eye dominance

Rem 700LH BDL 7mm Rem Mag
Rem 7600 30-06 pump
H&R 243 single shot break over
Browning auto 22 bottom eject
Ruger 10/22 International
Rem 870 12ga Express
Stoeger Condor 12ga O/U

Just bought a Marlin 983T in 22mag, not too bad to reach over and work the bolt. The only problem with the 7600 is the safety is backwards. I guess I could have it reversed, but never have. Same on my Rem 870.

I shoot in my right mind. All guns I own are right handed. Lately I have started restocking with Lefthanded stocks for righthanded receivers. You get them from Richards Microfit, and you must wait while them make them, but at least the cheek piece is on the correct side.

Well I decided to pull the trigger today and ordered a Tikka T-3 Lite synthetic stainless in 22-250. Will be in at the end of the week. Now I need to decide what glass to put on it.

If you don't mind how much are you getting it for, I to am a lefty, i have my one left bolt a savage 12 flv in 204. I can't get used to the right hand bolts, waste of time, sucks that we don't get the same options.

Well I hate to admit price, But it was 610 plus tax. I heard that they took an increase around the first of the year. I sometimes wounder about the extra money for left hand.

my cousin is left handed and she shoots a browning BPS for both deer and birds. it has an ambidextrous stock and safety and it works for her.

I have recently bought two LH rifles. A Savage in .300 wsm and a Sako in .270. All the others are RH. I will not likely buy anymore RH if buying new, however, I just bought a used Savage in .223 and it is great. I have always used RH till now and I find the change has been easy.

For a "leftys" Savage will build in their CUSTOM SHOP most anything in standard calibers. I had them build a lefty stainless in 260 rem and a stainless model 16 in 25-06 with a 26" sporter barrel in a walnut American classic stock. A very pretty rifle. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Both Rifles were shipped with test targets shot in Savage's
test range...the 25-06 was 3 shots into .4 with Federal 100 gr. BT. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

As far as calibers in left hand chamberings I could have ordered 257 Roberts, 250 Savage, 280 Rem etc. that no one has built left-handed. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

The 260 rem was $695.00 and the 25-06 was $720.00, to me it was money well spent. Also Effie Sullivan, who manages the Savage Custom shop is absolutely wonderful to work with in ordering a rifle. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I'm left eye dominant and shoot rifles left handed. Funny part is I shoot pistols right handed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Anway, I've been shooting right handed rifles since I was a kid (40 years or so), so I have problems with left handed rifles. Sometimes I'll swap out a right handed stock with a left handed version because of the cheek piece, but I usually don't have to. The only left handed gun I have is an 11-87 Premier Skeet and that is awesome.
