Lehigh Defense Bullets

Any one have any experience with the controlled chaos bullets from Lehigh Defense? I’m looking at their 55 grain bullet in the event that my vmax bullets don’t work so well at high velocity impacts.

Only posting because no one else has.
I haven't tried them. Usually I stick to cup and core construction. But I have heard others (being a very small group) discussed them with mixed results, one claimed the cat's meow the other not so much.
Hopefully this post bumps the question up so some that does have something to say will kick in rather than go into zombie land of posts.

They work exceptionally well. On coyotes and deer.
I've killed deer with them out of my .223. I prefer the 62 gr.
I've killed with the LD Controlled Chaos, Cutting Edge ER Raptor 60 gr, and US Cartridge 55gr Quadra Shock.

I saw they advertise that the bullet expands when it hits liquid/blood. Has that been your experience and is that bullet exiting? Fur damage?

Have you tried Sierra 55 gr gameking #1365. I have killed a few deer and some coyote with them but not at the velocity you are getting. No exp with what you ask about.

With all 3 brands there was generally pencil in and thumb hole out of the exited.
My preference was ER Raptors, Controlled Chaos, then Quadra Shock.
I don't worry about fur...but like with any bullet - a half inch could be the difference between a pencil and a fist sized hole.
