Leica CRF 800 rangefinder..Your Opinion?

I'm getting ready to buy a rangefinder, and I think I have got it narrowed down to the Leica CRF 800, any opinions good or bad would be appreciated.

I think you are making a good decision. I am also going to buy one of the Leica LRF's. However I am going to hold out for the 1200 model. And I am going to wait until after the first of the year. IMO there are going to be a lot of good buys on optics after the first of the year. Tom.

I just purchased a CRF 1200 out of necessity (lost my LRF 900). On an overcast day I ranged a hillside at 1349 yards.

Top notch piece of equipment.

Thanks for the imput! Just got off the phone with Cabelas and my Leica is on the way!

I use mine allot, and have had it for years. It has been reliable and accurate. I would recommend it to anyone.
