Leica LRF 800

Hey all,
just won a Leica LRF 800 on Ebay and was wondering if it has the "scan" feature like the LRF 900. Any info would be great.

Nope, the LRF 800's did not have the scan feature, and have been discontinued for a few years.

I had a LRF 800 for a few years and it worked great; no real need for the scan.

I went to check out all of the new rangefinders in cabelas, looked though them all but the leicas were the best, and the red dot is so much handier than black cross hairs...well needless to say I cannot afford those beautiful pieces of glass, especialy at this time of the year, to make a long story short my wife gave me money for a rangefinder for christmas and I got the Leica for 251.00 on ebay (still in box) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
