Lens Brush?????

Here in the Great White North, keeping optics clean, frost free and snow free is a never ending task. Often a glove or coat sleeve, paper towel or some such thing is used. Not very effectve and potentally damaging to the lenses.

A guy can only carry so much junk into the field, but my wife "Yes Dear" came up with a bit of genius today.

"Will this work for cleaning your lenses, your sweetness?"

I said "Yes Dear" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The thing on the right is a shotgun shell....Duh!
But the thing on the left is a "Blush Brush" closed.

Here's the brush open. It's small,and the screw cap keeps it clean. It even comes in "Night Stalker" black /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

 
I have something that is sort of like that, it looks like that would work even better, but i really dont want to have to go into a makeup store to get one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nck, the beauty of the thing is you don't have to go to a "Makeup Store" Just send a stamped self addressed envelope and 50 bucks to me and I'll go get it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I like the Leupold Lens Pen, it has a brush as well as a specially treated cleaning pad that lasts a long time. It is also made like a fat pen and has a clip so you can carry it in your shirt pocket.

Now, about facing the opposite sex on their own turf!!

Now really, what a bunch of chickens. What's a little blush on a guy that hunts anyway! HA HA!

Me? I go into fabric shops to buy magnifying lens lights and "fake fur" and dacron stuffing (reduced load wadding) every now and then. The good looking ladies are always helpful.

Come to think of it, I think a little blush for me might be in order! Say, color of coyote?
