I'm working on getting set up so I can show pictures. The picture on the left is the mule deer I shot last fall. I call it a 4x4 but those who count the eye gaurds would say 5x5. I will post others once I get organized.
My biggest muzzleloader deer, 8 pt. Shot with my T/C 50 caliber. Doe in heat bleated six times in rapid succession and stopped, no more sounds. He came up ther ridge down wind of my scent wick with his nose in the air sniffing.
These aren't from this year, but these are my four biggest deer to date. I have missed some that were big too.
2 years ago, I had a misfire with a muzzleloader at a 160" plus buck, at 15 yards, from the ground.
I killed this 6 pointer on a very rainy day when most hunters had gone home. I put the wind in my face and was still hunting along very slowly when I jumped this buck out of his bed and shot him at 40 yards with my Mossberg 835 3 1/2 inch, double 00
