Lets see your Predator Assault Vehicles!

Chevy Crew Cab 4x4 Diesel

Tony- I enjoy seeing your vehicles. They're always cool looking projects. I wish here in AZ we could night hunt or hunt from vehicles. I would devote some time to a shooting platform project. One can only hope.....

Shoe leather is the way to go for us. Although, carrying the rifle, caller, battery, mouth calls, and 'other' stuff - can be agravating at times. Elaboration: I carried all the regular 'stuff' in on a set, plus video camera and tripod. Great set. Clobbered the biggest coyote I have ever shot and got him on film as well. Now, the aggravation. I carried all that gear out of there, plus the coyote. The question that still dances in my head is 'why'? I had it all on video, it was a mid summer pelt and worthless. Duh!!!!

Great rides guys!
If it were legal to hunt/shoot from a vehicle in NY, I'd have some type of cool crap like that hanging off my pickup. If only to piss the antis off...

This is my old rig. I now have a newer one. I would rather hunt using my 4 wheeler rather than using my Truck to hunt with. The 4 wheeler is way easier to hide and is faster to travel on rough roads with a lot less noise.

Here is a picture of my critter gitter.Nothin fancy just a 1994 ford bronco fullsize, with a 302 it has 33" all terrain tires and it is geared pretty low and has a pozi in the rearend. In the snow I run 33" BF Goodwrench mud terrain tires with studs so I can get thru some pretty ugly stuff around here.

Kain nice setup. i either walk or ride bike on the coast. bear season's getting closer.Rick

Cant wait for August either. Got your calls and I am dieing to get out there. The coyotes might have a real problem if I cant control myself while scouting. Just dont want to noise pollute my bear spots before the season.

This is mine, but I usually end up doing more riding then calling. Man is it fun when you get to chase em!

rlight you make me miss my old bronco
it had a 300 6 and i could drive up behind you and the only sound was the tires on the gravel.
it went everywhere and what it wouldn't go over it would go around. turned on a dime and could wind its way around rocks i have never gotten over or around in any other truck.
body damage sized rocks.
i had the whole truck balanced on a grease Zerk one time
i loved that bronco but had to give her up at 290,000 miles
she was rusting away had a new engine and tranny but the dust no longer stayed outside and would choke ya to go down a gravel road

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif That sentence is a classic. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif

Anybody that has done much serious 4X4 rock crawling/off roading should get a big grin across their mug when they read that. I know I did. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Notice the high tech seat covers for muddy weather. They're made by a custom company called HEFTY and you can find them at the supermarket for some reason.

Heres my hunting rig/daily driver. 1978 Ford F-150 4x4, with 2 sets of off road lights, one set on the roll bar, the other on the bull bar, and a gun rack that have my Mossberg 500, and my Marlin .35 99.9999% of the time whether I'm hunting or driving around town.
