Any opinions on the Leupold VXL? I am looking at putting the 3.5-10 x 50mm on a Ruger Hawkeye all weather 7mm Rem Mag. Are the advantages of the scope worth the extra $, or should I buy a VX-III or VX-II?

I have never looked at one, however one thing I do wonder about is why I see so many in the local cabelas bargin cave

Customer acceptance probably hasn't been good, and the price ain't right.
