Leupold

I have a Leupold 6.5-20X40 on my 700 VLS. It's a terrific scope for precision shooting. I took this rifle calling one afternoon and that was the last time. FOV at 6.5 is half of the 3.4-10X40.

I have 4 calling rifles and I have 2 of them equipped with Leupold 4-12X40's,one with a Leupold 4-12X50 and one with a Leupold 3.5-10X40. I like all of these scopes for the FOV and power. I keep my scope on the lowest setting when calling daytime. I can't help but think you'll be disappointed with the scope for a calling rifle. If you're looking for a squirrel or PD scope then it's the ticket.

For that use, I think you'd like the 4.5x14 better.

Either the the LR reticle and/or M2 turrets.
