Light Weight Camo Ponchos

Quarter Round

Does anyone make camo ponchos? Seems these would be ideal for most predator and varmint hunting. Should be inexpensive and available in many different patterns with enough length to cover a person in the seated position.

Oh, you aren't looking for waterproof. Now I get it. If you just want a cover-up, a trip to the fabric store might be in order. I know a kid that made up something like what you are asking about. He used it during our hot weather and was comfortable. His poncho had vent holes cut out in the shape of leaves all over it. I've been thinking of making one myself.

Now thats what I'm talkin about. Your right I'll probably have to make my own. Thought about using some of the die cut blind material. Does anyone produce this in snow camo?

I bought this one at Cabelas. It is German surplus. Works great.

I know a guy who uses a lightweight camo mesh material from Wally World. I think it was blind material that he just cut to size. It's very tough, but wispy thin, and he can stuff the whole thing in his Foxpro bag along with the Foxpro. He lives in S. Texas and hunts a lot in the summer, so the thin material is a huge bonus.

I would've answered earlier, but was thinking along the same lines as Weasel! LOL..
