Who makes a light weight, water resistant or proof (ie. fabric does not absorb water and rot) ghillie suit? If you have any pictures, please post. Thanks,

Welcome to Predator Masters.
Just by the nature of the beast, a ghillie suit won't be waterproof. The suit I use has no burlap or jute in ut. It is camo cotton strips sewn onto a mesh fabric.
I wear it over my regular hunting clothes....t shirt in archery season ...or insulated waterproof bibs and parka in the cold weather.

Works fine and doesn't smell like a wet dog.

Here it is with no face mask on. It comes with an attached hood and seperate face mask.

I belive the bushrag ultra lite ghillie would fit the bill. Go to bushrag.com I've had one for a couple of years. They work great. Brad

Apparently Red just buys them and sells them like most of the retailers.

I guess its the best kept secret out there in camoland LOL :)

Just what are you trying to achieve? or what are you exactly looking for in a Ghillie? Sure there are different kinds out there,(and retailers and homemade) and most are just trying to point you to a product they have used or are personally satisfied with.

Good luck with your search /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I think RPSint would like to bypass me and deal directly with my suppliers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

We sell at many of the same shows. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually Redfrog you are wrong /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Being an educated shopper it is good to know what you are spending you hard earned money on.

If you were comfortable with yourself and your product you would have no problem telling us where in the USA the suits are made and who makes them. So... heaven forbid there are other suppliers selling the same product... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Hard to compare apples to apples when you don't have advertise a brand name...!

In addition to product quality, customer support is also worth a fair bit.

So big guy tell us! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
