Lightforce Battery Charging Confusion.........

Hi Pete.......

If you hang it in your shop, till it gets dim That is fine....(The same way you would out, Hunting at Night, the light gets dim and you recharge the battery in your Car/Truck)

Once you shut it off it will regain some of its power and come back well above 6 volts.....

The only way you could drop below 2 volts is if you saw it was going dim and left that way, till there was no light glowing left........

Then it would be unchargable........most of the time......

If your still wondering, PM me, with your Phone Number........I will, give you a Call........

Your last sentence above finally told me what I needed to know. Now I understand. Thanks for your patience Rick. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

i left mine on by accedent and it dropped below 2 volts,i put a reg charger on to get above the volts needed to get trickle chager to start.it took about 8hrs to come back up to full.havent got to try it to see if it will hold the charge.

Usually if it drops below 2 volts, most chargers wont charge it, its seen sa a Dead battery.....

If it does regain some power,it may not last very long....it all depends how long it stays below 2 volts...

It you went hunting last night and left the light on, till it was dead and then shut it off, it may resume to full-Power, with your charger.......

But if it was left in the Garage for 6 months, with out being charged, it will probley need to be replaced....

Hope this Helps..........RickH2
