Whats the best spot light out there to reach longer distances and good durability....I have used those cheap Q beam from wal mart but they seem to burn fuses in the truck really easy.

Light force is top quality and light. The weak part seems to be their dimmer switches and the cord plugs if you use them a lot.

The light they put out is hard to beat with a 12 volt rechargable. I have the Walkabout pack 170.

I have started using the XLT-250 for ease of hunting alone. The light force I have is not the scope mount version and is a two man operation.

ya i really want to get one that works well in a cigarette adapter so when i cruising the roads in my truck i can operate easy with high quality...think the 240 would be good? where did you buy yours?

I have a 170 good things are the adjustable beam and it's lightweight. The cord and plug are piles of junk. My personal opinion is there are better lights for a lot less money.

Here is my review.

Pros: Beam is awesome. Nailin yotes 200 yds.

Customer service A+

Cons:

Charger is bad, insufficient charge, 300$ light you still have to get a charger.

Cumbersome, heavy, straps, wires everywhere.

Plastic everything durability is not there. 1st charger was in pieces out of the box

Car plug in connection shaky

dimmer is fragile, mine failed.

Opinion: If there is another light with sufficent beam that is more compact and durable, ...get it.

I have 3 Lightforces-two 170's and the big one. That's how many you have to own to have a reasonable chance that ONE will be working when you need it. I have spent at least an extra $150 having their various electrical shorts in the cords, switches and plugs fixed. I gave up on them and bought an Olight SR90 with a spare battery pack. It shines at least as far as my big Lightforce, and the cool color temp of the light does not spook yotes as much as the incandescent bulbs of the Lightforce.

I do love the rheostat of the Lightforce, but until they have a "come to Jesus" epiphany about their quality, I wouldn't buy one.
