Lion hunting regs throughout the west.....

Wondering if you guys can save me a little research.

I would like to know what states allow electronic calls for Mountain Lion hunting and which do not. Help me fill in the blanks if you know, please....

Arizona- Yes

California- No

Colorado- Not yet

Idaho- Yes

Montana- No

Nevada- Yes

New Mexico- Yes

North Dakota-

Oregon-

South Dakota-

Utah-

Washington- Yes

Wyoming-

From page 64 or the Idaho Big Game booklet:

No electronic calls may be used to attract big game for the
purpose of harvest, except such calls may be used to attract
mountain lions and bears in seasons where approved by
Commission proclamation.

Didn't see where they list those approved seasons. I think it's mainly in the northern part of the state where the population is larger. Do not quote me on that. I'll repost if I happen upon that info.
 
Montana- No

Lions are big game and no electronic devices are allowed to hunt big game, callers, game cameras, radios ect.

Yep,,,, mostly in the wilderness areas where the sucess rate is poor.
The hunt units where e-callers are allowed are listed on page 62.

Ahhhh. Somehow never looked at that column to see the e-caller note. Probably cause any of the areas I go don't allow it. Thanks for the heads-up.
