Lip Squeak or Mouse Squeak?

Jay, if you are asking the question to get a better feel on which Powerplay model to trim down to, then definitely go with the Lipsqueak one. The Mousesqueak one is ok, but the Lipsqueak one is 10 times the call.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do Tony. The mouse coaxer is lacking but then again I really don't advertise. Did bite the bullet and put one in VH for July. We'll see.

Lip squeak. Main reason is I would occasionally bump the mouse squeaker accidently and I was afraid it might end up blowing a stand.

To be honest, I like the Lip Squeak.

I have used mouse squeaks in the past and most every time I say to myself WOW! I won't be doing that again.

It seems like there are many out there that like the mouse squeak and have much better luck them me using it so if they claim it works for them, I believe them.

I have not had the pleasure of hearing one of Uncle Jay's Power Play units, but I'd bet on it being effective. Since other brands have been mentioned in this discussion, I have been using the Sceery special coaxer for years, fastened to my rifle with a special fastener which is part elastic, part velcro. It has more of a chattering sound than any of the other types I have heard and is very effective in coaxing a coyote right on in. Very simple to operate with one finger on my left hand. I really don't think it is meant to copy a lip squeak though.

I would like to get me one of them power plays on my shotgun but I'm what you call credit score challenged and only buy my stuff from stores. Hope someday I will run into on of em and buy one. For now I got to get to a store and get me one of them primos ones.
