Little 3” Pot Call

Turned up a plain ol cherry pot call, glass over glass. Real high pitched screamer. Working out a tool process for making pot calls, kinda fun.

Mark, do you like the glass or slate better for your pot calls (in terms of the sound, etc) ?

Saylor I missed this... I like glass crystal and copper. But glass just feels good to me and I kinda like something like a wood soundboard along with it.
These little pots are just a pot I routed out to see if I could do it. Future pots will be old school hand turned pots.

The real turkey hunting nuts are gonna want various types of strikers to coax different tones from their call. I have so many strikers around, I think if they were a bit longer, I could outfit the drum corps in the marching band.

I love making strikers. You cant have to many imo. There is so much that can go into making a striker and they will absolutley change the way a call sounds.
