The straight is 650' deep & 22 miles wide, it would take one helluva lot of sunk ships to physically block it.

It could be mined, more likely just attack any shipping. Somehow I don't think trump would just do nothing in that case. This could get pretty nasty yet but I think it would be localising to that water
 
We are not at war with Iran. A single defensive action was taken to prevent a promised nuclear attack. Obama bombed 7 countries (26000 bombs) without congressional approval. Trump is the only president to follow thru with statements about preventing Iran from finalizing a nuclear ballistic missile. A big issue is the 1500+ known Iranian terrorists Biden let into the country. Be vigilant, report any suspicion activity especially around utilities and large gatherings.
 
I have a lot of thoughts, but I'll keep mostly silent and just say that I hope we as a country can muster the political fortitude to see this all the way through. We have a bad habit of getting involved in this kind of stuff and then getting bored/tired and quitting before it's really done.

Target practice for the US troops around base in Qater, now we know they can effectively hit Iranian missiles pretty well.

Looks like a win in my silly opinion.
Rinse and repeat in the next 2 years when they start building again.

SO, they buried one of their nuclear sites deep under a mountain within hardened bunkers and enriched uranium way beyond the % needed for nuclear energy, sure sounds to me like they had plans well beyond just nuclear energy!
Iran having nuclear weapons would be a disaster for the region, especially Israel, personally I'm glad that measures were taken to prevent them from having them, at least for now!
 
i dont believe they wanted to make nuclear missiles, just suit case sized bombs big enough to wipe out several thousand people.

i just read an article where more than a thousand iranian nationals were detained at the southern border and just let go during the biden administration. DHS has no idea where they are.
