Sorry to here the lost of another fireman.We lost one in the line of duty a few years ago he was shot twice as he arrived on scene.

One of our lt's was searching in a house fire on tuesday morning and while keeping contact with the wall he put his arm through a window that was damaged from the heat.He cut his wrist cross ways and then up his forearm about 7 inches slicing tendons and an artery in the process. He was bleeding so bad from the artery I had to wash down the sidewalk were he was being treated. He had to be flown to louisville for the artery and nerve damage to be fixed but is expected to be back to work in a few months with a lot of rehab.

We had a guy injured not to long ago while working a fatality MVA. Someone who didn't see 2 Engines, a truck, and two MICU's with overheads on....blew a scene and struck a parked MICU with two guys giving patient care inside.


Be Careful guys...it's not just the fires killing firefighters anymore.

I will be praying for his family and friends. I'm sure that he would appreciate everyones thoughts and prayers. He is a true hero in my books. I have lost a few in my work as well and it really makes you take a step back and look at life in the big picture. Bless his family. Aaron.
