Lock, Stock & Barrel is Out of Business

Maybe this has already been posted, so please remove if it has.

Since their website has been down and they don't answer their phones...

I just got off the phone with the C of C in Valentine, and LS&B is in fact out of business. Was told by the gent there that the bank had called in their loan, they couldn't meet it and closed their doors. As far as the C of C gent knew they hadn't filed bankruptcy yet, but he also said they had no plans to reopen. Heresay I know, but its better than nothing.

I've been a customer of theirs for a long time and considered them one of the best sources we had out there, so they will be missed. But I am also kind of mad at the same time for the way they just left all their loyal customers hanging too.

Good example of whats happening to this once great country, even the good are being forced into being bad.

Goodbye LS&B.

That's a shame. They were a first class outfit as far as I was concerned. Bought alot of supplies from them over the years. I wonder how much the "shortages" on components effected them?

I think you are right about "shortages" effecting them. A month or so ago I was trying to buy reloading components for several different calibers and every place I could think of was out of what I needed, LSB included. A missed sale is one that you never get back.

I hate to see them gone too. They had stuff you couldn't find other places and they were good to business with.

I haven't heard this yet. Its a shame too. We sell our bulls in Valentine every year and I always make a pilgrimage over to Lock Stock and Barrel. They just hand you a basket and turn you loose in their warehouse. They're definitely not good for a shooting addiction

Indeed this is sad news.

In fact I can to this site this morning to see if anything had been posted regarding this if it was permanent or they just went on vacation for a little while.

I was going to order a Fury this morning from them no answer on the phone and then looked at their website to see if they were closed Saturdays, where I saw the message of closed.

I looked at Randy Anderson's callingcoyotes.com website and it had a message that he was getting is online catalog rebuilt.

I agree with several of the others that they were very nice folks to do business with and also they had good prices.

Now I have to figure out where else I might consider buying a foxpro fury.

that is a shame....decent folks from the fon conversations i've had with them...hope our other mom&pop's suppliers will survive...small business is america.....

I did business with them too. I was just going to make an order when I saw that their Web Site was closed.

I agree---TOO BAD FOR THEM, AND US TOO!!

Thanks for the info.

not good at all ....I think before we spend our money at some of the super stores we should consider the little guys and help keep them alive to..

We lost our retail business recently, and I can tell you its a traumatic time of your life. Getting in touch with orders that have been placed, plus refunds to be giving is a full time job. So to expect this time honored company, which I have done business with, to notify you they are closing down as a courtesy to you is BS.
