Lodgepole Pine with some Blue Stain

Blue Stained Lodgepole Pine is a very popular wood up in this neck of the woods for log home doors, window trim and cabinets. The wood is generally white with small tight knots. The blue stain comes from a fungis in the wood when the tree is till in the forest.

I got some from a saw mill up in NW Montana and decide to give it a spin. It has a Carver Ruthless Rabbit tone board in it and a gloss finish inside and out.

I am asking $20 for this call delivered to your lanyard, cash, check, Pay Pal or your 401K accepted!

thanks for lookin

That did turn out cool /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif Nice work.
I don't think there is enough left in my 401K to get that one /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/angry-smiley-055.gif

Beetle killed pine, now that is cool!

Sure won't be a shortage of beetle kill in S. Wyo and N. Colo.

Wish I hadn't already spent my play money this month.

Great Job Tony! It matches some of our furniture at home. Great Idea, don't think I have seen anyone else build one out of Lodgepole yet. If you build more, keep me in mind! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif
