Lone ranger and Tonto

The Lone Ranger and Tonto are heading into town after a hard ride across the Mesa. They come to a stop at the saloon and both horses are pretty lathered up. Old Silver is soaked and the Lone Ranger tells Tonto to stay outside and run in circles around the horses so they can get cooled off by the breeze.

Our hero then enters the saloon, saddles up to the bar and orders a sasparilla. He is enjoying the refreshment when into the bar walks Black Pete, one of the most notorious outlaws of the day. He's big, and he's mean, and the entire place goes quiet when the swinging doors are kicked open and he enters.

"Who owns the big White Horse?" says Pete. and silence follows. Again, "Who owns the big white horse?" The Lone Ranger is tired, and not ready for confrontation, but can see that the crown is looking his way, after all, everybody in the teritory had seen him ride away on silver at least once. One last time, " Who owns the big white horse?"

At last the LOne Ranger, resigned to the clear outcome slides back from the bar and stands tall. "I do." he says.

Oh....You left your injun runnin'

sorry this is so long.
